I just finished a good practice session for The Entrance of Sound. I seriously can’t wait until I start recording on April 26th. There is much to do to be prepared and ready.
The Mystery of Music

Music has a direct entrance into our soul. It reaches the soul first and then is understood with the intellect. We can listen to music, and not even comprehend what is being communicated, but it has an impact on our life. This is contrary to many art forms and everyday involvements in life which are processed with the intellect first and then imparted to the soul.
One of my favorite things to do is play at assisted living communities. It amazes me how the words I speak have little to no impact to those who have the misfortune of losing the functions of their minds. But, music can always be understood and communicates to them in ways which my words never could.
The mystery of music fascinates me.
